SAT/ACT Testing
Important info about testing at DECHS:
First you want to research what the minimum test score requirments are at the colleges you would like to apply to and make that your goal.
ACT and Pre-ACT
10th grade students will complete the Pre-ACT at school in the Fall.
- Parents and students may find more information about the PreACT at http://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/preact.html.
11th grade students will complete the ACT at school in the Spring.
- ACT offers a free official ACT practice test. Each subject can be taken individually with an
overall score and links to free resources provided. Examinees can find the free practice test
and other resources at act.org/testprep. - Visit http://www.act.org/ for more information on ACT test dates if you plan to retake the ACT.
SAT
10th grade students will complete the PSAT at school in the Fall.
The SAT is optional and not given at DECHS during the school day. Students are to register for the SAT themselves.

Learning Express Library
The Learning Express Library four practice tests for each section of the ACT as well as ACT Preparation Courses and Guides. Students can create an account for free.
ACT Test Prep
ACT provides a few free sample questions for each area as well as resources, test tips, and exam descriptions. Test prep materials can also be purchased from ACT.
